What Causes Severe Lower Back Pain Post Removal Of Mirena Coil?

My dr tried to remove my mirena and the pain was too much to bare, he tried 3 times and said it wouldn t budge. I have to have a ultrasound as he thinks it may have embedded itself. Since then I have been having really bad lower back pains which keep me awake and last night it was travelling down my legs. What are your views?
