What Causes Severe Pain And Bleeding During Bowel Movement?

I just had a colonoscopy today to find out why I have severe pain and bleeding with my bowel movements. The Dr said he didn t find anything wrong,which is good. But he said I have some weak bowel muscles and is going to send me to a specialist to do some exercises. How does weak bowel muscles contribute to severe pain and bleeding with bm.
