What Causes Severe Pain And Pressure Below The Ribs?

Thanks for your help. I have strong pain on the right side of my body just below my ribs. it seems to be deep in as I can t feel where it is situated by putting pressure on the area. It wakes me at night when I turn over in bed. I do have sarcoidonsis and I wondered if this could be related to this.
