What Causes Severe Pain In Back Along With Nausea And Dizziness?

i had a sudden pain in my back so i went to a doctor and he injected me tramadol+emeset. i got relief immediately yesterday but today its again the same and even i am feeling nauseatic and like vomiting and diziness.can you please tell me what was that injection about?
