What Causes Severe Pain In Calf Muscles?

I have been sick with strep throat and an ear infection for the past week and have been on antibiotics. But now I have this throbbing in my left leg/ calf area that won't go away. There does not seem to be any swelling or redness, is it possible that it could still be a dvt for not being very mobile these past few days? I am only 24 and in good health but it makes me nervous. Pain only seems to go away when elevating leg. Thanks!
