What Causes Severe Pain In Lower Back,buttocks And Hip?

I have a lot of lower back pain, I once thought it was my back out of place and after going to my chiropractor twice which I never have to go more than once to get fixed by a adjustment , I realized that the pain kept getting worse. then a few days ago I got out of my vehicle and the pain in my lower back was about a 8 or 9 on a scale of 10 . The pain was more in my buttocks than in my lower back . I have had pain in my joints and hip all my adult life do I need to get a exam for possible hip replacement?
