What Causes Severe Pain In Ribcage Radiating To The Back?

I got the flu vaccine a year ago, and ever since I have had severe left rib cage pain which goes right through to my back. I have also had an acute kidney injury a few months ago and had to stay in hospital. I am on tramadol and kapake to help with the pain.
