What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Back On The Right Side?
My husband has acute pain in his lower right back from sacroiliac joint. He is taking two 200-mg Aleve a day and not having much relief from pain. How much more can he take to try to alleviate the pain? He will see a neurosurgeon in May, but wants relief in the meantime.

Aleve contains Naproxen that works great on back pain. He can take even three tablets for more relieve. Also, oral corticosteroids can be used to reduce inflammation since consultation is too far. Also, corticosteroid injections at the injury site can help cope with pain.
