What Causes Severe Pain In Toes?

About 1 months and a half ago ago, i was hit my a car skating. The car hit me from behind. When I got to the hospital they had given me xrays because my feet had swollen and may be a possible fracture but there were no signs. My Bigtoe makes it impossible for me to walk correctly, as I can't put my weight on my toes because it hurts. What seems to be my problem? Its been so long and I would think my toe would be healed by now.
