What Causes Severe Pain In Tragus Of Ear Post Piercing?

Hi I got my tragus pierced 2 weeks ago alls been okay little crust and swelling but I know that is normal . However when I woke up today I have obviously sleeping on it as have a really bad pain through my ear like an ear ache had it all day and is so uncomfortable feels like I need to apply pressure around the tragus . Will this go away or do I need to do something ?
