What Causes Severe Pain In Wound Post I-pen Appendectomy?

Hi I got out of the hospital by yesterday after an ipen appendectomy and a ruptured xorpus luteum and started smoking again, then my toddler kept on hitting my stomach unintentionally around 7 times and now my wound is more painful. Will the hitting have an effect on my wound?
