What Causes Severe Pain On Left Abdomen Along With Foul Odour During Urination?

I have severe pain on the left side right below my waist. It is constant and I've noticed a foul smel when I urinate. All symptoms point to kidney stones or infection. I have had pain for almost a month. Please respond, thanks. Also I don't have a steady stream when urinating.
