What Causes Severe Pain Shooting Through Head After Head Collision Into Glass?

My daughter got her head smashed in a sliding glass door 3 days ago. She is having sever pain shooting thru her head from time to time and is having headaches. She also had a nose bleed right after the accident. She is not experiencing any dizziness or vision problems. She is considering going to the doctor tomorrow and getting some test run. Do you think we should be concerned ?
