What Causes Severe Pain Throughout The Incision?

Hello. I had implants put in 5 years ago & had several capsular contractures that were operated on. Two and a half years ago, I suffered a severe infection that landed me in the hospital with a white blood cell count of over 20,000 (even after 3 days of intravenous antibiotics). Two infectious Specialists treated me w/ a different & stronger antibiotic. I was released several days later & implants were removed. A year had passed, without implants, when i was diagnosed with a sever case of seroma in both breasts. My nipples leaked constantly & seroma kept accumulating despite many drainages via syringe. I dealt with the seroma for over a year when my PS suggested that I get drained & put the implants back in so the seroma would eventually get reabsorbed into my body because it would not have such an empty space to keep filling. I am now almost 4 weeks post op & I have "spitter" stitches poking out of incision. The end one hurt so bad that I saw my PS & he had the nurse try to pull it out 2 days ago. Since then, I feel such sharp excrutiating pains throught my incision as though I am being poked with a hot needle. Everything I have read claims that spit stitches do not hurt. Is this normal? Could it be a sign of an infection again? I am terrified because of my history w/ implants. Please help. I am in pain!!!
