What Causes Sharp Pain All Over The Body?

My girlfriends in extreme pain. She started this morning with pain left of her head near her neck. After she got home a few hours ago she laid down and now her whole body is in pain, anything that she touches hurts her and any little movement gives her sharp pain. What could be the cause?
