What Causes Sharp Pain Along With Cramps In Abdomen?

I started working out lately this week trying to eat healthy but today I decided to have a break and eat pizza. I feel a sharp pain some what like cramps on the left side of my stomach. What could that be? It feels different than any other cramps I had before. It usually goes away after 30 minutes.
