What Causes Sharp Pain In Abdomen And Chest Radiating Towards Back?

I am having sharp pain in my upper to mid-abdomen that radiates through to my back.This happens on both sides, but occassionally will only occur on one side.Sometimes the pain under both sides of my rib cage, other times the pain in where my ribs come together at my diaphragm.
