What Causes Sharp Pain In Ankle And Tingling In Leg After Getting Hurt?

hello, i had softball about 2 weeks ago and we were doing sideways planks, and my ankle kind of popped. It has been hurting since then and i go to the nurse everyday for an icepack. If i put weight on it, it has a sharp pain then my whole leg goes tingly and my ankle hurtsssssssss. what could this be?
