What Causes Sharp Pain In Chest And Shoulder Blades While Coughing?

Recently I came down with a viral infection, common cold. Started feeling better after about a week. Now my cough is back. Very small, only happens every now and then, but anytime I cough, I have a sensation of my chest caving in. It all started with a pinching feeling under my shoulder blade
