What Causes Sharp Pain In Eye And Head?

hello, yes thank you. my mom is 67. she is experiencing sharp pain - she says a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 -over her right eye and the back of her head. she says it s even worse in the back of her head. it came on instantly about 20 minutes ago and is not subsiding. she does not want to go to the hospital. it is not a migraine. she gets those and is sure that it is not that. can you help?
