What Causes Sharp Pain In Left Arm Along With Bleeding From Nostril?

My grandmother woke at 2am choking on blood with a few small chunks in it. Once she got up, she said sharp pains shot through her left arm, and blood from her left nostril. What would be your professional opinion?
