What Causes Sharp Pain In Left Temple?

When I look up the left hand side frontal area of my head aches like a sharp pain. It started last night and I thought it was something to do with lack of sleep but even after sleeping for over 9 hours it hurts even more than it did last night. Right now I just took Panadol so it doesn t hurt as much as it did. Is it anything serious. What should I do?
