What Causes Sharp Pain In Lower Abdomen?

On Saturday i started having sharp pain in my lower left pelvic area. It goes away if i don't move, but if i stand or move around, especially if i cough or sneeze it hurts again and then will throb for awhile. What could be the cause. I don't have any pain while urinating.
