What Causes Sharp Pain In Ovary Along With Hot Flashes?

I have been having pain in my ovary for almost a month now. When I got my IUD removed my OB told me that my ovary was bigger then it should be so i had made me an appointment to check it out but when i went to my appointment my doctor didnt want to check it out because i wasnt having nausea or throwing up with the pain. But lately i have been having sharp pains in my left ovary and been having hot flashes with headaches and dizziness? Do you have any idea what it might be?
