What Causes Sharp Pain In The Lower Right Abdomen?

I m having a great deal of sharp pain in my lower right abdomen, goes around into my right side. When I sit down there is a lot of pressure and pain gets sharper for a few seconds. I have had a hysterectomy 3 years ago, gallbladder out two years ago. No fever. Yesterday I was very nauseated all day which never happens. Really don t want to go to an emergency room is not absolutely necessary. Any idea what this is?
