What Causes Sharp Pain On Both Sides Of The Head?

Hi! I'm just wondering what's going on with my head...2 days ago it just started that when I take a shower and water touches my head I have shape pains on both sides of my head along with throbing...I've had a CAT scan done and the results came back 99% normal with 1% artifact so I am scheduled for an MRI to make sure it is nothing...I'm just wondering what this could be...during the day I have a dull hand pain that doesn't hurt, but is present.
