What Causes Sharp Pain On Left Side Of Groin Area?

Hi I have a sharp stitch like pain in left side of groin. Have had this for few months. My periods are all over the place lasting from 2days to 3 weeks. When I have a bowel movement a lumpy brown discharge appears. The pain in my side increases. I continue to bleed for a few hours. I have noticed the same pain in the left side of my groin now although only slight compared to the right side. I am constantly aware of the pain in the right side. I have also had a slight bladder prolapse.
