What Causes Shock After Hearing Loud Noises?

What is it called when I heard a really loud noise like static on a TV, blaring screaming, etc? I go into this type of shock afterwords like my whole body is shaking, hands are in my ears, and sometime I completely forget where I am. (Not sensetive ears.)
