What Causes Shooting Pain In The Arm After Contraceptive Implant?

hi i have have just had the contraceptive implant inserted yesterday at 2pm. Last night I was not feeling very well, and today neither. I do not know if this is due to the implant. But I have shooting pains running up and down my arm all day and also the implant feels like it is going to pop out. It hurts to move my arm especially the bicep area where implant was inserted.
