What Causes Shooting Pain In The Vagina?

Hi,

I am 21years old and over the past 3 days, I have been experiencing a shooting pain in my internal vagina (lower stomache) when i sit down only. I have a boyfriend and we had sex several times before this pain occured. Can you tell me what this may be?
