Thank you for taking my question. I am 63, female,170#'s, have a history of chronic GERD, hypothyroidism, elevated BP, sleep apnea, IBS, all somewhat under control. As of late, I have experienced shortness of breath, fatigue, occasional dizziness, occasional jaw pain, which seems to be primarily in the upper jaw and teeth. I have an appointment with my dentist to check on teeth with fissures although it doesn't necessarily hurt to chew even carrots or nuts. Recently the shortness of breath has increased, at times waking to pain in my chest, if I exert any effort, carry heavy items, work around the home and other activities I am exhausted. My chest feels heavy, it is hard to breathe and I feel like I cannot take a full and deep breath. While downhill skiing (which was the first time this year) I experienced somewhat of a panic attack, feeling like I couldn't breathe, heaviness on my chest. At the moment, I am sitting, typing and feel okay. At times when working around the home, cleaning, etc. my breathing is extremely difficult. I have used an inhaler for intermittent asthma, but they cause such terrible internal trembling and total fatigue that I hate to use it. I do have an appointment with a pulmonary specialist tomorrow but wondering if the symptoms lean more to cardio problems than lung?
