What Causes Shoulder Pain After A Shoulder Repair Surgery?

My first surgery to repair my left shoulder (rotator ligament tear) and the bicep leading down from the shoulder was a failure and both body parts remained damaged and not in tack. The 2nd surgery to repair my left shoulder (rotator ligament tear) and the bicep leading down from the shoulder by another orthopaedic surgeon had to be discontinued. He that the shoulder ligaments and bicep were too retracted for the surgery to be successful. The shoulder gives me pain in the range of about 4 of of 10. However the pain related to the bicep is a never-ending 8-9 Is there anything you can recommend?
