What Causes Sinking Feeling In Chest?

For the past couple nights when I try to fall asleep, I get a sinking feeling in my chest and I m jolted awake. I m worried if this is a heart issues. I feel like I m dying, am I dying? I m very worried. I m exhausted, I haven t slept in days because of this.
