What Causes Sinus Drip Along With Constant Need For Clearing The Throat?

I have been taking lovastatin for about 5 years and started taking tamsulosin hcl .4 mg capsules about a year ago. I have developed a very bothersome sinus drip causing me to clear my throat almost constantly at times, often at night. I also have developed cataracts and have miserable blinking as if I had dry eyes, but treatment for dry eyes doesn t seem to help. What do you think the chances are these symptoms are related to one or both drugs?
