What Causes Sinusitis With Sore Throat And Pain Between Shoulders?

HI, I have been sick just pver 2 months with a bad cold and cough. I have been on meds for phemionia and a puffer but am still sick. I get a day or 2 that I feel like I am coming around then al down hill. In thelast week major sinus trouble and coughing. THen 5 days ago bad sore throat and pain between my shoulder blades even when not coughing. Also heaviness in my chest. The doctor yesterday told me nothing was wrong and just rest. Should I go back to another doctor? I am concerned since it has been 2 months and the pain makes it hard to sleep and my throat is getting sore (I think from coughing).
