What Causes Skin Itchiness After A Shower?

What can I do for itchy skin, esecially after I take a shower. I use sensitive skin soap (dove), and I put on lotion all over and it still does not work. It feels more like a tiny sting, if I scratch it it goes away but it comes back. It happens on my back mostly but also on my arms and legs. It is ver uncomfortable. What do you suggest I do?
