What Causes Skin Peeling From Legs When Suffering From Diabetes?

Hi iam a 65 year old male I have type 2 diabetes and for the last week have developed severe peeling on my lower legs and feet, feet are worse can you suggest anything for it as I have tried most creams including e45 using it every day but not easing up at all thank you
