What Causes Skin Rash On The Ear Lobes?

Well last week I started getting this rash on my earlobes and they're itchy sometimes but get worse if I mess with them. Then this week I noticed some red spots on my back below the skin but they are in pattern form, very odd. are the two related or what is this??
