What Causes Skin Tag On Labia Majora With Swelling?

I was too embarrassed to go to a doctor over a skin tag looking thing on my labia majora, also have no insurance because I am a current full-time pharmacy tech student. Well, this weekend it suddenly changes sized and appearance, swelled to the size of a grape with fluid and went from normal pink color to looking redish purple. So I got in shower, knowing better but just wanting it gone, tried to pinch it off unsuccessfully. Now I am laying in bed because I cant get it to stop bleeding. I am so embarrassed, been hiding this thing, advoiding intercourse with my partner, didnt want him to see.
