What Causes Small Bumps And Rashes On Body After Eating Food?

hi a group of us went to lunch on saturday.. out of the group about six of us to include 3 children and four adults ended up with small bumps and rashes on our stomachs and buttucks and legs. At first we thought it was chicken pox but then realized it was exposure to something or perhaps something we ate? what are your thoughts? Does bumps come up from food poisoning?
