What Causes Small Insect Bite Like Bumps Spreading All Over The Body?

I have a rash and I can't figure out what it is. It started about two weeks ago. Had one small mosquito bite like bump on my side and it itched. It spread under my armpits, down my sides, under my breast, and now towards my bikini area. They look like small mosquito bites at first but now they aren't perfectly round and they are drying out and kind of flaky...still itch! My husband has not had any problems so I don't think its contagious. Don't think its an allergic reaction either since I'm not doing anything different. Help!
