What Causes Small Lump Inside Rectum?

I have a small ( about the size of a dime) lump just inside my rectum, it's not sore except if I'm detecting it. I bought some Prep H thinking it might be some kind of hemmoroid? but from what I've read about hemmoroids online makes me think its not. I booked a DR appointment, but the soonest I can see the Dr. is Feb 12th. Do you have any idea's what this might be? and soon I seek help sooner? Thanks
