What Causes Small Painful Beat Inside Head?

i feel a very small painful beat inside my head,it beats every 2 hours then goes away after 2 minutes,and i have a cold,does the cold have anything to do about it? it started today after i came from school at like 3:00,and im 8 years old.and i had a cold starting from yesterday and i had medicne.
