What Causes Small Red Bumps On Forehead?

I have small red bumps on my forehead. They don't itch or burn. they do hurt if i push on them. they are near my scalp and i have had them since may. also on my hairline i have an indentation in my head that looks like a small blue bruise. that since may-also. I do want to add that I have had headaches all my life....but never these bumps till now. I am a 60 year old female. Any ideas on what this may be?
