What Causes Small Red Spots On Shoulder And Forehead After Getting Fever?

hi i found a small red spot on my 7mnth olds shoulder soon after she came down with a fever. the spot isnt raised and now i found one on her forehead. i will take her to the doctor but im just a little worried now. she never had it before and i havnt changed any shampoos etc or detergent
