What Causes Soft Bump On Head?

Hello I have just noticed a bump on my 2 year old daughters head, she has clearly bumped her head at some point this evening, but the bump is very soft and squishy feeling. (the beat way I can discribe it). Is this normal? Or could it be fluid? Thank you very much for your time.
