What Causes Soft Tissue Protruding From Vaginal Opening?

I noticed something tissue like inside my vagina opening. They are sort of bumpy...I ve also recently started to become intimate with my boyfriend and when we tried to have sex I ve found that we can only achieve partial penetration up until a point where it appears that there is just no space inside me.
