What Causes Sore Lump Outside The Vagina?

there is a lump on the outside of my vagina, which is larger than any usual shaving spots that iv had before - it also feels quite sore once touched. the very inner lips are darker than usual (a purple/blueish colour) what does this mean? should i be concerned?
