What Causes Sore Pain In Groin Area With Brown Discharge?

I had very sore pains near my groin area/lower stomach earlier in the week and since have been experiencing brown stringy gunge . I finished my period over a week ago so therefore should not be ready for another period yet. I am on the pil at the moment but have missed afew.
