What Causes Sore Penis While Suffering From Prostatitis?

i have been treated for prostatitis for several months on cypro, however the doctors now believe that it is to do with the coxics as the pain is there when examined. My question is I also have a very sore penis (top part), could the doctors thoughts be correct. Unfortunately i am posted in Kosovo so the medical staff do there best but there are no specialists
